Sarkisian to Speak at Clarkson University on Engineering for the Future of the Environment

Mark P. Sarkisian will speak on "Engineering for the Future of Our Environment" on Friday, May 10, at 2 p.m. in Bertrand H. Snell Hall Room 213. Sarkisian is the director of seismic and structural engineering in the San Francisco office of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP. He will receive an honorary degree at Commencement on May 11.

A Tau Chi Alpha Environmental Engineering Honor Society has been established at Clarkson University, creating the third active chapter in the United States.

Alcoa Foundation Partners with Clarkson University for Campus Recycling Initiatives

Alcoa Foundation is partnering with national nonprofit Keep America Beautiful and the College & University Recycling Coalition to provide 40 recycling bins to Clarkson University as part of the Alcoa Foundation Recycling Bin Grant Program.
